Lillies little lamb

So, a update on Lillie! 

She is just a doll. She is starting to be able to remember people she sees a lot and will stare at them instead of just me and Trevor, with the occasional grumpy look, she really knows our friend Ashleigh, cause she comes and visits a lot so I don't get bored. On a fast side note, Ashleigh has become a really close friend to Trevor and I, she really is just like a sister because we are INSANELY alike so that's fun cause I finally have someone who REALLLLLLY gets me to the core, and I get her, so she really is more like a family member than a best friend! ANYWHO! Back to Lille! she is growing and I wish she wouldn't so fast! She is already 8 weeks old!  

But the funny part is, see that little lamb down below?? 

SHE LOVES IT! she won't go in her car seat at ALL if she doesn't have it with her! which is funny! and clearly as the pictures below she loves to sleep with it to, and wont with out it... so she already is getting attached to things and she loves her binkie as well.... sooo that might suck later on! but for now its cute! and the best part is, ( and I don't know how to tell for sure in these pictures) BUT I PROMISE YOU ALL, that she holds that thing for dear life! I'll try to get a picture of her in her car seat and she CLINGS to it! Its just SOO CUTE! 

And Trevor gave her her blessing on Sunday the 6th of November! He did AMAZING! He went up there and just let it flow sooo well, it all was just so from the heart and from heavenly father! People are still calling me telling how it amazing it was! It was awesome to see him get to do that as her father! and the circle was awesome! There was just sooo much love in the circle and we have probably a equivalent of about 4 big rows in the chapel! It was amazing to see all her family and firends joined together to be there to support Trevor and Lillie! And see how many people just love her! 

SOOOOO I'M PRETTY SURE THAT'S ALL FOR NOW RIGHT NOW THATS NEW WITH THE LOCKING FAM! 

November 5th and 6th!

Lillie got to meet Grandpa Bly this weekend!!! (my dad) it was soo great to see him!! 

She just wouldnt stop looking at him! haha

He had this little heater! and he just layed her in front of it! when she woke up and after her bath! 

she just LOVED IT! guess I may need one of these in the near future!

Auntie Shayla also surprised me and came to her blessing and got to meet little baby Lillie! 

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Well I had to do it! I couldn't not dress her up! so she needed a winter suit to keep her warm when we go out! Since it looked like a little bear thats what she was! and it was the cutest thing ever!! 

Couldn't miss out on her first Halloween even though shes only 6 weeks old  (and holy time flies I might add!)


She even went to see Abby and Clark! and Uncle Conrad! so she even trick or treated!

We had our first Halloween as a family and it was GREAT! I think we all love Halloween even more now! and by we all I mean Trevor and I! 

Lillies famous!

Well the 3 of us went to Chinook last weekend, and when we walked in, I totally found our mayor! he was just chillin at the mall... so I asked him to say hi to Lillie! than they said well lets take a picture! so clearly we did!! 

Best part of meeting him, was he just thought Lillie was the cutest thing, and went on about it for a bit when we were talking to him! 

So that's what has happened that is exciting in our world!

Look GEEGEE!

This picture made me laugh, and I totally just noticed it now! But seeing as her GEEGEE wants her to be a basketball player from the first time he saw her, she decided to show him her looooong fingers and long arms!  He was talking to her about ball at the time this picture was taken, so it is kinda funny shes showing her hands! (grandpa skip decided  thats what he wanted to me called cause he is a GREATGRANDPA not just a GRANDPA)

So anyone who knows Trevor fairly well, knows that if he can put his arm up like Lillie's he can sleep anywhere! 

Well our one ultra sound showed her laying like that, and now she does it all the time! 

There is noooo denying that she is a locking baby! Cause Conrad and Ryan do it too! and now Lillie does!

Thanksgiving, Family time!

On sunday before dinner we learned that she is going to be one of those blanket lovers! you cant tell very well, but she is clung on to that banny like its going to run away! 

My grandpa came for dinner at mom and dad Lockings house! Watching my grandpa hold little Lillie, is just such an amazing time, he has soooooo much love for that little girl already! When he holds her he NEVER takes his eyes off her. I even tried to take a picture with them and he couldn't look up. He cares for her and worries about he so much. Her and her great grandpa will have a strong bond, Trevor and I can tell already.

He always talks about how shes going to play basketball, (she has the longest fingers ever!) and he just lights right up! and gets so excited about it! (I'm hoping for more like piano, but she can do both!) 

This one is cute, cause shes looking right at her Oma. That night she showed everyone how attentive she really can be. and was awake a lot during the time we were there. Oma loves this little girl so much as well. and loves to snuggle her so much.  

Well theres dad and grandpa! Grandpa Locking loves to look at all the changes she has and her BIG blue eyes. Everyone just loves to hold her and love her, and its super easy to, cause she is just soo darn cute! between her great grandpa and grandpa Locking, there will for sure be some love for the sport of basketball. they both see it in her hands, but grandpa Locking also sees the piano potential! (thank heavens!!)

This is our first family picture!! We had tried many times before but she would be tired or we wouldn't have a way of taking the pictures! But we Finally got some! and there will be more! Cause we are getting our friend who also took our wedding pictures to take our family pictures! There is one thing for sure, all I feel when I look at this picture is that LOVE that I have for those 2 people! 

This is the first picture that I have with my Baby Lillie! It took sometime because I always hid behind the camera, or found a reason why I couldn't get my picture taken. there will be plenty more pictures with me and her, I've seen now that it is very important to make sure she has pictures with everyone. 

We didn't get everyone, but we will, so there will be more pictures to come of her and her uncles and her with my mom! 

Baby Locking ( a little late but ohhh well!)

WELL! here she is (this was the next morning!) 

Lillie Marjorie Locking

She is tinny! she was only 6 Pounds 1 Oz. but she was 20 inches long. and has the LONGEST fingers ever! (grandpa skips first words were, "well she can hold a basketball with those hands that's  for sure! PERFECT!"

Daddy loves this little outfit, and speaking of daddy, Trevor has adapted to being a dad so well! It was soo natural for him. The love that he has for her is amazing, I could see it the second he held her for the first time. he is defiantly a proud and happy dad!   

Lille and Mommy went to the relief society broadcast and she got to wear her dress, those tights are the only bottoms that fit her somewhat, and they don't fit around her waist. Its rather funny trying to get a out fit together cause everything is just really big on her! 

I hated that stuff they put in there eyes! I think its mean! but really its not! cause it like protects there eyes or something like that! haha. which is good!

Now Lillie is going to be 2 weeks old tomorrow! her due date was originally October 2 ( so yesterday) but we ended up having her on September 20th at 8:25. Learning and going through all the changes that come with having a baby haven't been to bad, the worst is having to get up in the night, and sometimes she thinks its fun to stay up for 2 hours in the middle of the night! But i think we are getting that under control. She really does sleep well during the night, every 2 or 3 hours shes up. So i guess it could be worse! haha, but learning how to be a mom, has been interesting, thats for sure, and wondering what her life is going to bring her in the future is what i find myself thinking about a lot, but i guess we will just have to wait and find out all together! 

I think the biggest thing that I have noticed, is how much more appreciation I have for Trevor and all the hard work he does, I mean he gets up and goes to work for almost 13 hours comes home and has about an hour and a half before we all go to bed and to see Lillie, and he still will change her diapers and gets her ready for bed! get whatever i may ask him for, if there is some cleaning to do he will even do that! he really does blow me out of the water!  and does he ever take that time to heart with her. I always knew he was going to be a really amazing father, but he has completely passed the Amazing line and gone above and beyond! Its really rather amazing! I love seeing them together! it just melts my heart. I mean I always knew how much he did for us and all the work he did, but now I guess I just see it so much more! I didn't know I could love him more than I already did, but my love for Trevor for sure has grown, so much! they are not kidding when they say after you have a baby your love and appreciation grows soo much!
